You should not need to hire a photographer to come home with a good holiday photo.
What our guides are trained to do
Barracudas Tour has run island trips from Ao Nang, Krabi since 1992, and photography training is part of how we prepare our guides. The person looking after your group on the boat also knows how to take a decent picture of you once you are off it.
- Framing people against the scenery
- Finding better angles
- Using the light at each location
- Taking group photos where nobody is left out
- Helping guests get natural-looking shots
Ask, or do not. Both are fine.
Want the whole family in the picture? Ask. Want a few shots for Instagram? Ask. Would rather put your phone away and enjoy the sea? That is perfectly fine too.
Your guide is there to help, not to turn your holiday into a photoshoot. There is no photo package to buy, no photographer's fee and nothing to collect at the end of the day. The pictures are on your own phone or camera, and they are yours.
